Hadith 1817
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Dinar (he says): I and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) were near the house of Khalid bin Uqbah, which was in the market. Meanwhile, a man came and wanted to whisper something into the ear of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), and besides me and the person who came to whisper, there was no one else with Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him). Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) called another person, so now we became four people. Then Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said to me and the fourth person: Move aside a little, because I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Two people should not whisper and converse secretly, leaving the third alone, for this causes distress to the third person."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When there are three people, then two of them should not whisper together, excluding the third."
