Hadith 1792
حَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ، وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ، وَالثَّلَاثَةُ رَكْبٌ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "A single traveler is a devil, and two traveling together are two devils, and three are a group."
Hadith 1793
وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الشَّيْطَانُ يَهُمُّ بِالْوَاحِدِ وَالْاثْنَيْنِ، فَإِذَا كَانُوا ثَلَاثَةً لَمْ يَهُمَّ بِهِمْ "
It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Satan targets (to cause harm to) one and two, but when there are three people, he does not target them."
Hadith 1794
وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِك، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَا يَحِلُّ لِامْرَأَةٍ تُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ، تُسَافِرُ مَسِيرَةَ يَوْمٍ وَلَيْلَةٍ، إِلَّا مَعَ ذِي مَحْرَمٍ مِنْهَا "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is not permissible for a woman who believes in Allah and the Last Day to travel for one day and night except with a mahram."
