Hadith 1782
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had cupping done by Abu Taybah, then he (peace be upon him) gave him one sa’ of dates as wages and ordered his owners to reduce his tax.
Hadith 1783
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) was informed that the Messenger of Allah said: "If there were any remedy that could reach the disease, it would be cupping."
Hadith 1784
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Muhaysa Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): How is it to use the earnings of a barber for one's own expenses? (Because his slave Abu Taybah was a barber and he wanted to consume his earnings). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade it (but according to most scholars, this prohibition is of a discouraging nature). He used to ask repeatedly and seek permission from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), until the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Spend his earnings on your camels and slaves' food."
