Hadith 1702
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to wear a ring of gold. One day, he stood up and threw it away and said: "I will never wear it again." The people also threw away their rings.
Hadith 1703
Sadaqah bin Yasar asked Sa'id bin al-Musayyib about wearing a ring. He said: Wear it! And tell people that I have told you to wear it.
