Hadith 1655
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, will not look at the person on the Day of Resurrection who lets his lower garment hang out of pride."
Hadith 1656
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, will not look at the person on the Day of Resurrection who lets his garment hang down out of pride and arrogance."
Hadith 1657
It is narrated from Abdur Rahman bin Ya’qub, he says: I asked Sayyiduna Abu Sa’id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) about the state of the izar (lower garment). He said: I know, I will tell you. I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) say: “The izar of a believer should be up to the middle of the shins; but if he keeps it up to the ankles, there is no harm in it. What is below that is a matter of going to Hell, what is below that is a matter of going to Hell. Allah will not look at the person on the Day of Resurrection who lets his izar hang down out of pride and arrogance.”
