Hadith 1651
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ
عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ
أُمِّهِ ، أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ : دَخَلَتْ حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَلَى عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَى حَفْصَةَ خِمَارٌ رَقِيقٌ
" فَشَقَّتْهُ عَائِشَةُ، وَكَسَتْهَا خِمَارًا كَثِيفًا "
It is narrated from Marjana that Hafsa bint Abdur Rahman bin Abi Bakr went to Umm al-Mu'mineen, Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), wearing a thin head covering (veil). Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) tore it and made her wear a head covering (scarf) made of thick cloth.
Hadith 1652
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ
مُسْلِمِ بْنِ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي صَالِحٍ ، عَنْ
أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ :
" نِسَاءٌ كَاسِيَاتٌ عَارِيَاتٌ، مَائِلَاتٌ مُمِيلَاتٌ، لَا يَدْخُلْنَ الْجَنَّةَ وَلَا يَجِدْنَ رِيحَهَا، وَرِيحُهَا يُوجَدُ مِنْ مَسِيرَةِ خَمْسِ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ "
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said that those women who are clothed yet naked, themselves deviated from the straight path and also lead their husbands astray, will not enter Paradise, nor will they even smell the fragrance of Paradise, although the fragrance of Paradise can be perceived from a distance of five hundred years.
Hadith 1653
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ
يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ
ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، فَنَظَرَ فِي أُفُقِ السَّمَاءِ، فَقَالَ :
" مَاذَا فُتِحَ اللَّيْلَةَ مِنَ الْخَزَائِنِ ؟ وَمَاذَا وَقَعَ مِنَ الْفِتَنِ ؟ كَمْ مِنْ كَاسِيَةٍ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَارِيَةٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ؟ أَيْقِظُوا صَوَاحِبَ الْحُجَرِ "
It is narrated from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, woke up at night and looked towards the sky and said: "How many treasures Allah, Glorious and Exalted is He, has opened during the night, and how many tribulations have occurred. How many women are there who are clothed in this world but will be naked on the Day of Resurrection. Warn those women who stay in their private chambers."
