Hadith 1640
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "It is not proper for a Muslim to abandon meeting his Muslim brother, that is, to leave him for more than three days (i.e., to hold a grudge for more than three days), or if he meets him, he does not look at him, or if the other meets him, he does not look at him. The better of the two is the one who greets (says Salam) first."
Hadith 1641
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Do not hate one another, do not envy one another, do not turn your backs on one another, but be, O servants of Allah, brothers to one another. It is not permissible for a Muslim to abandon his brother for more than three nights."
Hadith 1642
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the greatest falsehood. And do not search out (the faults or shortcomings of people), and do not investigate, and do not be greedy for the world, and do not envy, nor bear malice, nor turn your backs on one another, but rather be, O servants of Allah, brothers to one another."
Hadith 1643
It is narrated from Ata bin Abdullah Khorasani that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Shake hands with one another, and malice will depart from your hearts. Give gifts to one another, you will become friends and enmity will disappear."
Hadith 1644
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The gates of Paradise are opened on Mondays and Thursdays, and every servant who does not associate anything with Allah is forgiven, except the person who harbors enmity against his brother. It is said regarding these two people: 'Wait for these two until they reconcile, wait for these two until they reconcile.'" (That is, until they make peace with each other, they are not forgiven.)
Hadith 1645
Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The deeds of the servants are presented every week on Monday and Thursday, then every believing servant is forgiven, except the servant who harbors enmity against his brother, so it is ordered that leave both of them for now, until they reconcile.
