Hadith 1628
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that the last advice which the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me when I placed my foot in the stirrup was: "O Mu'adh! Behave with good character towards people."
Hadith 1629
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was given a choice between two matters of the world, he would choose the easier one, provided there was no sin in it. If there was sin in it, then he would avoid it the most. And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) never took revenge for his own sake from anyone, except when the sanctity of Allah was violated, then he would take revenge for the sake of Allah.
Hadith 1630
It is narrated from Hazrat Zain ul Abideen that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Among the best aspects of Islam is that a person leaves aside idle and useless things."
Hadith 1631
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that a man sought permission to come to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) while I was with him in the house. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is a bad man." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) gave him permission to enter. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) says that not much time had passed when I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) laughing with him. When he left, I said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Just now you called him bad, and now you are laughing with him. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The worst among people is the one whom people avoid or fear because of his evil."
Hadith 1632
Ka'b al-Ahbar said that when you want to know the condition of a servant with his Lord (i.e., whether he is accepted or rejected, destined for Paradise or Hell), then see how people speak about him.

It is narrated from Yahya bin Saeed that it has reached me that a person, due to good character, attains the rank of one who worships all night and remains thirsty (fasting) all day.
Hadith 1634
Saeed bin Musayyib said: Shall I not tell you of something that is better than many prayers and charity? The people said: Tell us. Saeed said: Reconciling between people, and beware of malice and enmity, for this trait shaves off good deeds.
Hadith 1635
It reached Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I have been sent to perfect good character."
