Hadith 1624
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No woman should seek the divorce of her sister so that she may empty her vessel; rather, she should marry, for what is decreed for her will come to her."
Hadith 1625
It is narrated from Muhammad bin Ka'b Qurazi that Muawiyah bin Abi Sufyan said from the pulpit: O people! What Allah, Glorious and Exalted is He, gives, no one can withhold, and what He does not give, no one can give, and the power of any powerful person is of no use (that is, his power cannot avert His punishment or his wealth cannot benefit him, only deeds will be of use). Whomever Allah wishes good for, He gives him understanding in religion, and grants him the knowledge of jurisprudence. Then Muawiyah said: I heard these words from the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, on these wooden planks (the noble pulpit).
Hadith 1626
It is narrated from Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, that in earlier times people used to say: All praise is due to Allah who created everything as He willed; nothing can happen before the appointed time; Allah is sufficient for me and such sufficiency is sufficient; Allah hears whoever calls upon Him; there is no one besides Allah to whom supplication may be made.
Hadith 1627
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) was informed that in earlier times it used to be said that no person will die until his sustenance is completed, so be moderate in seeking livelihood.
