Hadith 1609
It is narrated from Umar bin Abdul Aziz that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said as his last words: "May Allah, Glorified and Exalted is He, destroy the Jews and the Christians; they made the graves of their prophets into mosques. Be aware, there shall not remain two religions in Arabia."
Hadith 1610
It is narrated from Ibn Shihab that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There shall not be two religions in the Arabian Peninsula."
Hadith 1610B1
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said that Ibn Shihab said that Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, investigated this hadith, and when he was satisfied and certain that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had said: "Two religions shall not remain in the Arabian Peninsula," he expelled the Jews of Khaybar from Khaybar, and also expelled the Jews of Fadak and Najran. However, the Jews of Khaybar did not own land or trees, and the Jews of Fadak owned half the fruit and half the land, because the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, had made peace with them on this matter. Sayyiduna Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, assessed the value of that half of the land and fruit and handed it over to them, and then expelled them.
