Hadith 965
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade taking the Noble Qur'an to the land of the enemy. Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The reason for this prohibition is so that the enemy does not take the Noble Qur'an and disrespect it.
