Hadith 944
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stayed at Mina during the Farewell Pilgrimage, and people were asking him questions about religious matters. So a man came and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I shaved my head before sacrificing (the animal)." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Now perform the sacrifice, there is no harm." Then another man came and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Out of ignorance, I performed the sacrifice before throwing the pebbles." The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Now throw the pebbles, there is no harm." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then whenever the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was asked about doing something before or after its due time, he said: "Do it, there is no harm."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from jihad or Hajj or Umrah, he would say takbeer. At every ascent, he would say three times: «لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ، وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، آيِبُونَ تَائِبُونَ عَابِدُونَ سَاجِدُونَ. وَهَزَمَ الْأَحْزَابَ وَحْدَهُ» “We are returning, repenting, worshipping Allah, prostrating, praising Allah, turning to our Lord. Allah has fulfilled His promise, helped His servant (Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him), and He alone has routed the armies.”

It is narrated from Hazrat Kuraib, who was the freed slave of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them), that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a woman who was in her mahaf (mahaf is like a howdah but without a dome). It was said to her that this is the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). It is narrated from Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaidullah bin Kuraiz (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No day is Satan seen more humiliated, more rejected, and more enraged than on the Day of Arafah, because he sees the mercy of Allah descending upon the people of Arafah and great sins being forgiven. Except on the day of Badr, Satan was also in this state." The people asked: What happened on that day, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He saw Jibreel arranging the ranks of the angels."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaidullah bin Khariz (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best supplication is the supplication of Arafah, and the best of what I and the prophets before me have said is «لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّٰهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ»."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) entered Makkah in the year Makkah was conquered, and there was a helmet on his head. When he (peace and blessings be upon him) removed the helmet, a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Ibn Khatal (he was a disbeliever whose name was ‘Abdul ‘Uzza; the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, had made his blood permissible) is hanging onto the curtains of the Ka‘bah." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Kill him."
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was not in the state of Ihram that day.

It is narrated from Hazrat Imran Ansari that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) came to me while I had stopped under a tree on the way to Makkah. He asked: Why did you stop under this tree? I said: For shade. He asked: For any other reason? I said: No, I only stopped for shade. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you reach Mina between the two mountains (and he gestured with his hand towards the east), there is a place called Sarar, there is a tree under which the sandals of seventy Prophets were cut, or seventy Prophets received Prophethood." Thus, he was pleased because of this.

Do not trouble the people; if only you would sit in your house. So she remained in her house. A man met her and said: The person who forbade you has died, now you may go out. The woman replied: I am not such that I would obey him during his life and disobey him after his death.

Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: Where are you intending to go? He replied: For Hajj. Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) asked: Have you not set out with any other intention? He said: No. Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Then begin the deed. That man said: I set out until I reached Makkah and stayed there, then I saw the people and made my way through them, and what do I see but the same person who had met me at Rabdha was present, that is, Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him). He recognized me upon seeing me and said: Are you the same one to whom I narrated the hadith?
