بَابُ الْبَيْتُوتَةِ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى
Staying Overnight in Mecca During the Nights of Mina
Hadith 910
حَدَّثَنِي حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : زَعَمُوا أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، " كَانَ يَبْعَثُ رِجَالًا، يُدْخِلُونَ النَّاسَ مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْعَقَبَةِ "
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that people said that Sayyiduna ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him, appointed a few men for the task of turning people back towards Mina from behind the Jamrah ‘Aqabah.
Hadith 911
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : " لَا يَبِيتَنَّ أَحَدٌ مِنَ الْحَاجِّ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْعَقَبَةِ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said: No pilgrim should stay beyond the Jamrah of Aqabah during the nights of Mina.
Hadith 912
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ، فِي الْبَيْتُوتَةِ بِمَكَّةَ لَيَالِيَ مِنًى : " لَا يَبِيتَنَّ أَحَدٌ إِلَّا بِمِنًى "
It is narrated from Hisham bin Urwah that his father, Urwah bin Zubair, said that during the nights of Mina, no one should stay in Mecca; rather, they should stay in Mina.
