Hadith 882
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, was informed that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said regarding Mina: "This is the place of sacrifice, and all of Mina is the place of sacrifice." And regarding 'Umrah, he said about Marwah: "This is the place of sacrifice, and all the paths of Makkah are the place of sacrifice."
Hadith 883
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that we set out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) when five nights of Dhu al-Qa'dah remained, and we thought that he (peace be upon him) had set out for Hajj. When we approached Makkah, the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered the person who did not have a sacrificial animal with him to perform Tawaf and Sa'i and then to come out of Ihram. Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: On the day of Nahr, meat of a cow came to us, so I asked, "Where did this meat come from?" The people said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had sacrificed on behalf of his wives.
Hadith 884
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her) that I said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): The people have ended their state of ihram, but you have not ended your ihram after performing ‘Umrah? So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I have applied talbeed to my head (talbeed means to stick the hair of the head together with gum or the saliva of marshmallow, etc., so that the hair does not become disheveled) and I have garlanded my sacrificial animal, so I will not end my ihram until I have performed the sacrifice.”
