Hadith 832
It is narrated from Sayyida Umm Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her) that some people doubted in her presence whether the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) was fasting on the day of Arafah. Some said: He (peace and blessings be upon him) is fasting, others said: No. So Sayyida Umm Fadl (may Allah be pleased with her) sent a bowl of milk to him (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) was mounted on his camel in Arafat, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) drank it.
Hadith 833
It is narrated from Qasim bin Muhammad (may Allah have mercy on him) that Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) used to fast on the day of Arafah. Qasim (may Allah have mercy on him) said: I saw that on the evening of Arafah, when the Imam departed, she remained there until the ground was cleared, then she asked for a bowl of water and broke her fast.
