Hadith 775
It is narrated from Sulayman bin Yasar that the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, had cupping done on his head while in the state of ihram at "Lahyi Jamal", which is a place on the way to Mecca.
Hadith 776
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to say: A muhrim should not get cupped except when compelled by some necessity (then he may do so).
Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy on him) said that a muhrim may only get cupped in case of necessity.
