Hadith 704
It is narrated from Sayyida Asma bint Umais (may Allah be pleased with her) that she delivered Muhammad bin Abi Bakr at Al-Bayda, so she mentioned this to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), who mentioned it to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). He (peace be upon him) said: "Take a bath and enter into Ihram."
Hadith 705
It is narrated from Sa'id bin al-Musayyib that Sayyida Asma bint Umays (may Allah be pleased with her) gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr at Dhu'l-Hulayfah, so Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) instructed her to perform ghusl (ritual bath) and then enter into ihram.
Hadith 706
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ " كَانَ
يَغْتَسِلُ لِإِحْرَامِهِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُحْرِمَ وَلِدُخُولِهِ مَكَّةَ وَلِوُقُوفِهِ عَشِيَّةَ عَرَفَةَ "
It is narrated from Nafi that Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to perform ghusl (ritual bath) for the purpose of ihram before assuming ihram, and he used to perform ghusl for entering Makkah, and he used to perform ghusl on the ninth (of Dhul-Hijjah) for staying at Arafat.
