It is narrated from Sayyiduna Busar bin Sa'id (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When any woman among you comes to the 'Isha congregation, she should not come wearing perfume."
Hadith 467
Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab’s (may Allah be pleased with him) wife, Sayyida Atika (may Allah be pleased with her), used to seek permission from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) to go to the mosque, so Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) would remain silent. Then Sayyida Atika (may Allah be pleased with her) would say: By Allah, I will go unless you forbid me, and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) would not forbid her.
Hadith 468
Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: If the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had seen what the women have introduced in this time, he would certainly have prevented them from going to the mosques, just as the women of Bani Israel were prevented. Yahya bin Sa'id said: I asked: Were the women of Bani Israel prevented from the mosques? He said: Yes.
