بَابُ الرُّخْصَةِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْعِيدَيْنِ وَبَعْدَهُمَا
Concession for praying before and after the two Eids
Hadith 438
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ الْقَاسِمَ " كَانَ يُصَلِّي قَبْلَ أَنْ يَغْدُوَ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى أَرْبَعَ رَكَعَاتٍ "
Hazrat Qasim bin Muhammad used to perform four units (rak'ahs) of voluntary prayer at home before going to the Eidgah.
Hadith 439
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّهُ " كَانَ يُصَلِّي يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair that he used to offer Nafl prayers in the mosque before the Eid prayer.
