Hadith 377
It is narrated from Abdul Karim that he said: Among the sayings of prophethood is this: When you have no shame, do whatever you wish; and in prayer, place the right hand over the left hand; and to hasten in breaking the fast; and to delay the pre-dawn meal (i.e., to eat close to dawn).
Hadith 378
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa’d Sa’idi (may Allah be pleased with him) that people were commanded to place the right hand over the left hand in prayer. Abu Hazim said that I think Sayyiduna Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) used to attribute this hadith as marfu’ (i.e., to the Prophet ﷺ).
