Hadith 88
It is narrated from Abdullah bin Abi Bakr that he heard from Urwah bin Zubair that he went to Marwan bin Hakam and they discussed the things that necessitate ablution. Marwan said that touching the private part also necessitates ablution. Urwah said: I do not know this. Marwan said: Lady Busrah bint Safwan (may Allah be pleased with her) informed me, she heard from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), he used to say: "When any one of you touches his private part, he should perform ablution."
Hadith 89
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mus'ab bin Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I used to carry the Book of Allah and Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) would recite it. One day I scratched myself, so Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Perhaps you touched your private part. I said: Yes! So Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Get up and perform ablution. So I stood up, performed ablution, and then returned.

Hadith 92
It is narrated from Hazrat Salim bin Abdullah that I saw my father, Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), performing ablution after taking a bath. So I asked, "O my father! Is not the bath sufficient without ablution?" He said, "Yes, it is sufficient, but sometimes it happens that after the bath I touch my private part, so I perform ablution."
Hadith 93
It is narrated from Hazrat Salim bin Abdullah that I was traveling with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them), and I saw that today when the sun rose, he performed ablution and offered prayer. I said, "Today you have offered a prayer which you did not use to offer." Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "Today, after performing ablution, I touched my private part, then I forgot to perform ablution again and I offered the Fajr prayer. That is why I have now performed ablution and repeated the prayer."
