بَابُ الْعَمَلِ فِيمَنْ أَعْطَى شَيْئًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللّٰهِActions of one who gives something in the way of Allah
Hadith 971
حَدَّثَنِي حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا أَعْطَى شَيْئًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ لِصَاحِبِهِ : " إِذَا بَلَغْتَ وَادِيَ الْقُرَى فَشَأْنَكَ بِهِ "
Whenever Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would give something for jihad, he would say: When it reaches Wadi al-Qura, then that thing is yours.
