بَابُ النَّهْيِ عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالْوِلْدَانِ فِي الْغَزْوِChapter on prohibition of killing women and children in battle
Hadith 967
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَأَى فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ امْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً، فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ، وَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, found a woman killed in one of the battles, so he disapproved of it and forbade the killing of women and children.
