It is narrated from Sayyiduna Talhah bin Ubaidullah bin Kuraiz (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No day is Satan seen more humiliated, more rejected, and more enraged than on the Day of Arafah, because he sees the mercy of Allah descending upon the people of Arafah and great sins being forgiven. Except on the day of Badr, Satan was also in this state." The people asked: What happened on that day, O Messenger of Allah? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He saw Jibreel arranging the ranks of the angels."
