بَابُ مَا يَفْعَلُ مَنْ نَسِيَ مِنْ نُسُكِهِ شَيْئًاWhat to Do if One Forgets Part of His Rituals
Hadith 944Q1
قَالَ مَالِك : مَا كَانَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ هَدْيًا، فَلَا يَكُونُ إِلَّا بِمَكَّةَ، وَمَا كَانَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ نُسُكًا فَهُوَ يَكُونُ حَيْثُ أَحَبَّ صَاحِبُ النُّسُكِ
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: As for the dam (compensatory sacrifice) which is for Hady, it will inevitably go to Mecca; for any other act of worship, there is a choice to do it wherever one wishes.
