بَابُ فِدْيَةِ مَا أُصِيبَ مِنَ الطَّيْرِ وَالْوَحْشِCompensation for What is Killed of Birds and Wild Animals
Hadith 936
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " فِي الْبَقَرَةِ مِنَ الْوَحْشِ بَقَرَةٌ، وَفِي الشَّاةِ مِنَ الظِّبَاءِ شَاةٌ "
It is narrated from Hisham bin Urwah that his father, Hazrat Urwah, used to say that for a nilgai (blue bull) one cow is obligatory, and for a deer one goat is obligatory.
