بَابُ إِفَاضَةِ الْحَائِضِDeparture of a Menstruating Woman
Hadith 928
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ، أَنَّ صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتَ حُيَيٍّ حَاضَتْ، فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ : " أَحَابِسَتُنَا هِيَ " فَقِيلَ : إِنَّهَا قَدْ أَفَاضَتْ، فَقَالَ : " فَلَا إِذًا "
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that Safiyyah got her menses, so it was mentioned to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). He (peace be upon him) said: "Is she going to hold us back?" The people said: She has already performed the Tawaf al-Ifadah. He (peace be upon him) said: "Then no."
