It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to stay for a long time at the first and middle Jamrah, reciting takbir, tasbih, and tahmid, and supplicating to Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, but he would not stay at the Jamrah of Aqabah.
