Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: In our view, this ruling is agreed upon that no person should shave his head or cut his hair until he has performed the sacrifice, if he has a sacrificial animal with him, and he should not use any of the things that were forbidden in the state of Ihram until he exits Ihram in Mina on the Day of Sacrifice. Because Allah the Exalted has said: «﴿وَلَا تَحْلِقُوا رُءُوسَكُمْ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْهَدْيُ مَحِلَّهُ﴾» "And do not shave your heads until the sacrificial animal reaches its place."
