وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ
عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ :
" مَنْ أَهْدَى بَدَنَةً، ثُمَّ ضَلَّتْ أَوْ مَاتَتْ فَإِنَّهَا إِنْ كَانَتْ نَذْرًا أَبْدَلَهَا، وَإِنْ كَانَتْ تَطَوُّعًا، فَإِنْ شَاءَ أَبْدَلَهَا، وَإِنْ شَاءَ تَرَكَهَا " . ¤
It is narrated from Afa’ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said: Whoever takes a camel for Hadi, then it dies on the way or gets lost, if it was for a vow, he should give its substitute, and if it was voluntary, then he may give a substitute if he wishes or not.
