وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، " أَنَّ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ
يُجَلِّلُ بُدْنَهُ الْقُبَاطِيَّ وَالْأَنْمَاطَ وَالْحُلَلَ، ثُمَّ يَبْعَثُ بِهَا إِلَى الْكَعْبَةِ، فَيَكْسُوهَا إِيَّاهَا "
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to clothe his camels, which were for Hadi (sacrificial animals), with Egyptian cloth, Charjami, and sets of garments (after the sacrifice), and he would send those clothes to the Sacred Ka‘bah to be draped over it.
