بَابُ الْعَمَلِ فِي الْهَدْيِ حِينَ يُسَاقُDealing with the Sacrificial Animal While Being Driven
Hadith 847
وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي، عَنْ مَالِك، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " الْهَدْيُ مَا قُلِّدَ، وَأُشْعِرَ، وَوُقِفَ بِهِ بِعَرَفَةَ "
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to say that Hadi is the animal which has been garlanded and marked, and is made to stand at Arafat.
