It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said to Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf, may Allah be pleased with him: "How did you kiss the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad)?" Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman, may Allah be pleased with him, said: Sometimes I kissed it and sometimes I left it. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You did right."
