بَابُ مَا يَقْتُلُ الْمُحْرِمُ مِنَ الدَّوَآبِّWhat Animals the Muhrim is Permitted to Kill
Hadith 788
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " خَمْسٌ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ مَنْ قَتَلَهُنَّ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ : الْعَقْرَبُ وَالْفَأْرَةُ وَالْغُرَابُ وَالْحِدَأَةُ وَالْكَلْبُ الْعَقُورُ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are five animals which, if anyone kills them while in the state of ihram, there is no sin upon him: the scorpion, the mouse, the rabid dog, the kite, and the crow."
