بَابُ مَا لَا يَحِلُّ لِلْمُحْرِمِ أَكْلُهُ مِنَ الصَّيْدِChapter on What is Not Permissible for a Person in Ihram to Eat from Game
Hadith 786B4
وَالَّذِي يَقْتُلُ الصَّيْدَ ثُمَّ يَأْكُلُهُ إِنَّمَا عَلَيْهِ كَفَّارَةٌ وَاحِدَةٌ ، مِثْلُ مَنْ قَتَلَهُ وَلَمْ يَأْكُلْ مِنْهُ
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: Whoever hunts and eats the game, then only one expiation is required of him, just like the person who hunts but does not eat.
