It reached Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, that Sa'id ibn al-Musayyib, Salim ibn 'Abdullah, and Sulayman ibn Yasar were asked about the marriage of a muhrim (one in the state of ihram), and all of them said that a muhrim should neither marry himself nor arrange marriage for another.
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said that a muhrim may take back his wife (i.e., revoke a revocable divorce) if he wishes, as long as the woman is still in her waiting period ('iddah).
