بَابُ نِكَاحِ الْمُحْرِمِChapter on Marriage of a Person in Ihram
Hadith 773
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " لَا يَنْكِحُ الْمُحْرِمُ وَلَا يَخْطُبُ عَلَى نَفْسِهِ وَلَا عَلَى غَيْرِهِ "
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) used to say: A person in the state of ihram should neither marry himself, nor send a marriage proposal for himself or for someone else.
