بَابُ جَامِعِ مَا جَاءَ فِي الْعُمْرَةِComprehensive Chapter on What is Reported Regarding Umrah
Hadith 768
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ ، قَالَ : " افْصِلُوا بَيْنَ حَجِّكُمْ وَعُمْرَتِكُمْ ، فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ أَتَمُّ لِحَجِّ أَحَدِكُمْ وَأَتَمُّ لِعُمْرَتِهِ أَنْ يَعْتَمِرَ فِي غَيْرِ أَشْهُرِ الْحَجِّ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: Separate Hajj and Umrah, so that Hajj is performed completely and Umrah is performed completely, and that is by not performing Umrah in the months of Hajj, but rather performing it on other days.
