بَابُ مَا لَا يُوجِبُ الْإِحْرَامَ مِنْ تَقْلِيدِ الْهَدْيِChapter on What Does Not Require Ihram from Marking Sacrificial Animals
Hadith 754
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ عَمْرَةَ بِنْتَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنِ الَّذِي يَبْعَثُ بِهَدْيِهِ وَيُقِيمُ ، هَلْ يَحْرُمُ عَلَيْهِ شَيْءٌ ؟ فَأَخْبَرَتْنِي ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَائِشَةَ ، تَقُولُ : " لَا يَحْرُمُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَهَلَّ وَلَبَّى "
It is narrated from Yahya bin Saeed, he asked Umrah bint Abdur Rahman that if a person sends a sacrificial animal (hadi) but does not go himself, is anything obligatory upon him? She replied: I heard from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), she used to say: No one becomes a pilgrim (muhrim) except the one who puts on the ihram and recites the talbiyah.
