وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ
نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ
عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ " بَالَ فِي السُّوقِ ، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ فَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ وَيَدَيْهِ وَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ ، ثُمَّ دُعِيَ لِجَنَازَةٍ لِيُصَلِّيَ عَلَيْهَا حِينَ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ فَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ، ثُمَّ صَلَّى عَلَيْهَا "
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) urinated in the market, then performed ablution and washed his face and hands, and wiped over his head. Then he was called for the funeral prayer. When he had gone to the mosque, he wiped over his socks, then performed the funeral prayer.
