بَابُ مَنْ تَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ زَكَاةُ الْفِطْرِWho is Obliged to Pay Zakat al-Fitr
Hadith 698
حَدَّثَنِي حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ " كَانَ يُخْرِجُ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ عَنْ غِلْمَانِهِ الَّذِينَ بِوَادِي الْقُرَى ، وَبِخَيْبَرَ "
It is narrated from Nafi‘ that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to give out Sadaqat al-Fitr on behalf of his slaves who were in Wadi al-Qura and Khaybar.
