بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي صِيَامِ الَّذِي يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا فِي رَمَضَانَWhat is reported about fasting for one who wakes up in a state of janabah in Ramadan
Hadith 589
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ سُمَيٍّ مَوْلَى أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَيِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُمَا قَالَتَا : " إِنْ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَيُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ "
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) would be in a state of janabah due to intercourse, not due to a wet dream, and morning would come upon him while he was fasting.
