بَابُ مَا جَاءَ فِي صِيَامِ الَّذِي يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا فِي رَمَضَانَWhat is reported about fasting for one who wakes up in a state of janabah in Ramadan
Hadith 587
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، وَأُمِّ سَلَمَةَ زَوْجَيِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُمَا قَالَتَا : " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُصْبِحُ جُنُبًا مِنْ جِمَاعٍ غَيْرِ احْتِلَامٍ فِي رَمَضَانَ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ "
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Sayyida Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) and Sayyida Umm Salama (may Allah be pleased with her), both said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would remain in a state of janabah due to intercourse, not due to a wet dream, and morning would come upon him in Ramadan, then he would fast.
