بَابُ مَنْ أَجْمَعَ الصِّيَامَ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِChapter on one who intends to fast before dawn
Hadith 581
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : " لَا يَصُومُ إِلَّا مَنْ أَجْمَعَ الصِّيَامَ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ "
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The fast of a person is not valid unless he makes the intention before true dawn.
