Hadith 569

وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : قَالَ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى : " إِذَا أَحَبَّ عَبْدِي لِقَائِي أَحْبَبْتُ لِقَاءَهُ ، وَإِذَا كَرِهَ لِقَائِي كَرِهْتُ لِقَاءَهُ "
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Allah, the Glorious and Exalted, said: 'When My servant desires to meet Me, I also desire to meet him, and when he dislikes meeting Me, I also dislike meeting him.'"
