بَابُ جَامِعِ الْوُضُوْءِComprehensive rulings on ablution
Hadith 56
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْاسْتِطَابَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " أَوَلَا يَجِدُ أَحَدُكُمْ ثَلَاثَةَ أَحْجَارٍ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Urwah bin Zubair that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, was asked about istinja (cleaning oneself after relieving oneself), so he, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "How is it that none of you finds three stones?"
