بَابُ مَا يَقُولُ الْمُصَلِّي عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِWhat the one praying over the deceased should say
Hadith 537
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، " أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُمَرَ كَانَ لَا يَقْرَأُ فِي الصَّلَاةِ عَلَى الْجَنَازَةِ "
It is narrated from Hazrat Nafi that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) did not recite the Qur'an in the funeral prayer.
