بَابُ غُسْلِ الْمَيِّتِChapter on washing the deceased
Hadith 521B3
قَالَ مَالِك: وَلَيْسَ لِغُسْلِ الْمَيِّتِ عِنْدَنَا شَيْءٌ مَوْصُوفٌ وَلَيْسَ لِذَلِكَ صِفَةٌ مَعْلُومَةٌ وَلَكِنْ يُغَسَّلُ فَيُطَهَّرُ
Imam Malik, may Allah have mercy on him, said: In our view, there is no fixed limit for washing the deceased; rather, one should wash until complete cleanliness is achieved.
