It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah Sanabahi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "When the sun rises, Satan is near it, and when it becomes high, he moves away from it. Then when it is at its zenith, he comes near it again, and when it declines, he moves away from it. Then when it is about to set, he comes near it, and when it sets, he moves away from it." And the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade performing prayer during these hours.
