بَابُ الْعَمَلِ فِي الدُّعَاءِActions in supplication
Hadith 506
وَحَدَّثَنِي ، عَنْ مَالِك ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ ، أَنَّ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، كَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ الرَّجُلَ لَيُرْفَعُ بِدُعَاءِ وَلَدِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ " ، وَقَالَ بِيَدَيْهِ نَحْوَ السَّمَاءِ فَرَفَعَهُمَا
Saeed bin Musayyib used to say: Indeed, a man's rank is elevated by his son's supplication after his death, and he gestured with both hands towards the heavens and then raised them.
